How to Use Gua Sha for Your Face in a Few Simple Steps
Step 1: Start with Clean Skin
• Wash your face with a gentle cleanser.
• Apply a facial oil or serum to help the Gua Sha glide smoothly.
Step 2: Hold the Gua Sha Correctly
• Use a gentle grip and hold the tool at a 15-45 degree angle against your skin.
Step 3: Follow the Right Motions
• Neck: Sweep upwards from the collarbone to the jawline.
• Jawline & Chin: Glide from the center of your chin outward toward your ear.
• Cheeks: Start at the nose and move outwards toward the temples.
• Under Eyes: Gently stroke from the inner corner of the eye toward the temples.
• Forehead: Move from the eyebrows up toward the hairline.
Step 4: Repeat Each Motion 5-10 Times
• Use light to medium pressure—it should feel relaxing, not painful.
Step 5: Finish & Clean Your Tool
• Wipe your Gua Sha with a damp cloth or wash it with mild soap.
• Apply your favorite moisturizer to lock in hydration.
